Winter skin, what treatments are good?

There have been many changes to come out of our recent lockdown, but it seems our clients biggest concern is their “iso skin”. During Isolation our number 1 selling product was face masks, especially our new hydrojelly masks and our number one request on reopening was can you fix my skin.

Your skins congestion and brake outs have been brought on by lack of fresh air, the lack of in-salon skin treatments, combined with the stress that the pandemic has brought with it.

Any big change in routine – whether it is diet, exercise or stress – can have a direct impact on the skin. Even if the changes you are making are positive. Such as using every product you have purchased, in date or not. Or purchasing every new product you have seen on your Instagram and facebook feeds.

Winter also brings about changes in your skin as the natural oil flow in your skin slows down, heaters and showers are turned up causing skins to become dry and dehydrated.

However, Winter can be a great time when it comes to in-salon treatments and home care. This is when you can be more adventurous and give your skin a shake up with treatments like:

  • IPL for pigmentation and rejuvenation

  • Sothys Glycolic - Lactic & Salicylic Peel program

  • Hydra3Ha Intensive Hydration Facial

  • Pro Youth - reduce your skins appearance by up to 6 years!

  • LED Light therapy - Blue, Red and near infrared

  • Diamond Microdermabrasion

All of these amazing treatments can be combined into a custom facial program or as an individual treatment.
